Why Choose Cotopaxi Gear?
Cotopaxi is named after a volcano in Ecuador, and the brand is built around a few ideas:
Gear for Good: Cotopaxi is a Certified B Corp and says it puts 1% of its revenue toward fighting poverty.
Sustainably minded materials: The brand says it uses recycled, leftover deadstock and other sustainably minded materials for over 96% of its products.
Del Día remnant fabric: Del Día packs are made from fabric left over from other companies' production runs. The people who sew each pack choose the colour combination, so every bag is one of a kind.
No intentionally added PFAS: As of 2024, Cotopaxi says its products contain none.
Climate Neutral Certified: The brand says it measures, reduces and offsets its carbon footprint.
Guaranteed for Good: Cotopaxi stands behind its gear with a limited warranty.

About the Cotopaxi Warranty
Cotopaxi will replace an item affected by a manufacturing defect for the lifetime of the product. A product's lifetime is an estimate based on the type of product, how it was used and its age.
